Our direct client is seeking a Big Data ETL Developer for a full time career opportunity.
Required skills include,
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of development experience (Java, Python, SQL, Bash/Shell)
5+ years of experience with RDBMS (query optimization, data modeling, schema design)
3+ years of Hadoop ecosystem with deep knowledge of the technologies
Must have working knowledge of Hive and Kafka
5+ years of experience with ETL tools (e.g. Pentaho PDI, Informatica, Talend)
Previously implemented and maintained a data lake and data pipelines
Strong grasp of Big Data concepts and real-world challenges
Good understand of Linux/Unix and open-source
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins
Background in working within the Agile methodology
Desire to learn the Fixed Income investments business
